Arun Gopinath
Head of Mobile Networks Technology Centre, Nokia Bangalore
Arun has nearly three decades of experience in the Telecom Software industry, having spanned across
several domains including Wireless Access, Mobile Core and Network Management and has been associated with
Nokia since almost 17 years now. He has held global leadership positions across geographies in India and
Europe and companies like Siemens Communication Software, etc.
He is also a member of the Nasscom Engineering R&D Council. In his current role at Nokia, he is the Head
of the Mobile Networks Technology Centre at Nokia Bangalore. He drives various initiatives on Leadership
Development, Software Excellence, Strategic Competence Development and Engagement of a 3,000+ strong
workforce in the Mobile Networks Business Group at the Nokia Bengaluru Centre with a very strong push on
5G Development (Classical 5G, O-RAN, V-RAN), Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning and Automation.
