Amit Jain

One of the judges of Shark Tank India 2, Amit Jain started his journey with his brother Anurag Jain from a small makeshift office at his home garage in Jaipur. Soon, he successfully transformed the CarDekho Group into a Unicorn. The company which started as GirnarSoft in 2007 now proudly employs 5500+ dedicated professionals and is recognized as ‘Great Place to Work’. Beyond India, CarDekho Group has a strong presence in South East Asian countries including Indonesia and Philippines.
Not limiting his entrepreneurial success to the autotech space, he later launched B2B insurtech InsuranceDekho and leading bike and college portals BikeDekho and CollegeDekho respectively. An alumnus of IIT Delhi, he started his career with Trilogy— a multinational corporation based in the United States and later quit to start his entrepreneurial journey.
